What's the difference between bed rails and bed frames, aren't both made to hold your mattress set?
Typically a bed frame, also known as a Hollywood frame has feet with wheels or glides and can connect to your headboard. Whereas a bed rail connects both a head board and footboard, but does not necessary has any feet. Bed rails come in two versions: hook-on or bolt-on types. This refers to the type of ends on the rails that accept the headboard/footboard. Usually, wooden headboards/footboards use hook-on rails and metal headboards/footboards use bolt-on rails. We carry a wide assortment of both types in addition to spare parts and adaptors. In the event you have a full or a queen size bed and your mattress is sagging, you may need a center support for your frame/rail.
